Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre has a 18 bedded 10 ventilated Neonatal ICU which have all ventilators having high frequency options (Babylog 8000)(SLE 2000 HFOPlus) . In addition to complex monitoring available for ventilated neonates, spirometry is additionally available. Nitric Oxide is used in complicated cases of pulmonary Hypertension.

Our center has treated 4874 neonates in the last eight years and the survival rate is 96.3%. Comprehensive multidisciplinary neurodevelopmental followup and rehabilitation is being done upto 8 years . This centre has been rated by experts in this field from P.G.I .
